Well, I am not sure what to say here either. I consider myself just a good, decent kind of guy that has never had any trouble getting along with most anybody. I am down to earth, which I say is the best way to be. I believe that it is better to be disliked for who you are than to be loved for who your'e not. I work in the information technology field as a computer systems operations analyst. I like sports (football mostly), good music of most kinds, and just doing whatever the spirit moves me to do. I also believe that some things are more enjoyable when they are with friend(s), and that special somone. I think that there are hidden qualities within us all that are brought out by that special someone, and that is wonderful when that happens. I went to MSU, Mankato for 3 years before deciding to take a break to decide what I REALLY want to do. While at Mankato, I was involved in student senate as a VP and attended many leadership confereces. I was also a part of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority and served as social chair. As of right now I am attending a community college near my hometown while I save to finish up my BA in Mass Communications (Concentration in Public Relations) at the University of MN this fall . I work guest service at Target and also at a daycare while Im in school. I have an amazing family and support base. Im a HUGE dog lover. I hate cold weather and hope to move somewhere warmer someday :)

Well I'm finally deciding to write this summary even though I have no idea what to say. Some people would call me a real calm, collective laid back type of guy, I tend to agree with them. There's nothing that will phase me or get by me too easily. People watching is always fun to me but I'm the type of person who does something clumsy while they are watching me. My family has recently been a big part of my life and very grateful for them. I can be a man of few words but trust me there are bunch of questions up there which when I feel comfortable enough I'll ask. Takes me a while to warm up to new people (unless I'm heavily intoxicated) but who isn't? I'm not much of dancer or singer but will if needed. I can be very sarcastic at times and joke around a lot but I also know when it's time to be serious.

Starting to work out more and love running or walking around the lake. I love kids (to a certain extent) but I just got hired to be a tutor for the St. Paul school district. I will be tutoring K-5 Native American students this fall and I am really looking forward to it. Yep, that's about all I have for you right now. I hope you enjoyed it and still work in progress.

I love traveling. My kids and I went scuba diving for a week last summer in the Florida Keys. The year before we took a week long road trip camping and hiking in Glacier National Park (The most beautiful place in the US imho). We've taken a bus tour through Europe. I was the mean dad who assigned them each a country to give a report on while we were there. They were the "expert" and picked what we did. My son chose Italy and my daughter picked France. I had Austria and Switzerland.

Personal descriptions are too personal and often made up. I'll just list all of my negatives instead. Im coming out of an 10 year relationship with 2 kids. I had to move back into my parents home since the breakup (yeah yeah...i know). I smoke weed more then anyone you know, and it's only the really danky expensive shit. My dvr has become my best friend in the last 3 months. I am the pickiest eater you will ever meet in your life. I am a total insomniac , usually stay up til 6 am and sleep til noon. Ah...how to summarize myself into words? Well, first off, I'm a very kind and care-free individual who always tries to make the best of everyday. One of the first things someone asks you is "what are you looking for"? So right off the bat I am going to list off a few ideal aspect that I like (ideal but not set in stone). Christian, gentleman (opening doors, flowers, pulling out chair...), non-smoker (in process of quitting or occasional/light ok), light drinker (I have never been drunk and don't ever plan on it but i like a glass of wine with Christmas dinner ect.), good personal hygiene (non negotiable), good sense of humor, and most of all can accept me for who I am. Also at this point in my life I am not dating just for something to do in my free time. I date with the intention of it becoming a serious relationship with the possibility of marriage.
If you have stuck with me thus far you might think wow she is very straight forward. Who am I?

That's a tough question to answer some days, but basically I"m a geek. I work with computers so they are apart of who I am, but I can separate myself from them. I enjoy camping and hiking, my favorite spot is anywhere along the north shore of Lake Superior. I also enjoy going to the theater to see musicals and plays, my favorite is Les Mis, but I've seen Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Beauty and the Beast and others. I can be rather sarcastic, if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. I'm open-minded about people and who they are, I let them prove their worth and earn my trust.

I'm more of a listener then a talker, although that doesn't mean I can't. Usually, it just takes some time for me to get rolling, cause once I do I can babble with the rest of them.

I'm very realistic about life. I find beauty and humor in everything and everyone. Movies are a huge part of my free time, I really enjoy watching low budget films. The actors seem to try harder, the script seems to be written for a more specific audience so it's usually a lot stronger.

I work fulltime, enjoy playing sports and hanging out with friends. On the weekends I usually check out a bar with some friends or we get together at someones house and have a few too many drinks. When we are out I enjoy buying rounds for friends or picking up a tab for a friend in distress. In my free time I enjoy fishing, hunting, golfing, softball, biking, snowmobiling, and riding motorcycles. I also like watching the Vikings, Wild and Twins play. Well, I guess I can start by saying that I am a single mom. I have 2 beautiful daughters ages 3 and 8. They are the most important thing to me in my life, and they keep me on the right path. When I'm not with my kids I do love to hang out with my friends, going out to the bar, sing, watch movies and t. v., and listen to music. I love all kinds of music except hard core hip hop and heavy metal. I am a very hard working and understanding person. I value honesty and loyalty the most. My family and friends always come first in my eyes. I am a very straight forward kind of girl, very honest and blunt... actually it kind of gets me in to trouble hehe. But no worries people I know how to reign it in and be a good girl. I like to think I have a good sense of humor, at least that's what I have been told by my friends. From all of my past experiences in my love life and just life period, I have found out what I want and what I'm looking for in life. I am sick of being alone. I'm a 25 years old and have just moved to the twin cities area. I am looking for someone to show me around the area and have fun with.

I'm a small town boy living in the big city. Currently living in the big? town of Eagan. I think of it as a large town because it's 100 times larger than the town I grew up in. I did go to a private Lutheran college but I'd describe myself as a liberal atheist. I work in a typical office environment which I do enjoy but can't say I'll shed a tear when moving on to my next gig.

I'm rather calm and quiet most of the time. I do enjoy to cheer for my local Minnesota teams such as the Vikings and Twins. Have yet to find the excitement of hockey. Sorry Wiild fans. Most people would consider me a geek but I don't follow the timeline of Star Trek or have the desire to dress up for a comic convention. I just enjoy keeping up with the latest technology gadgets and listening to some informative podcasts.

There are many local parks and hiking paths where I can enjoy a lazy stroll. Nobody would confuse me for being a chef but I do enjoy playing Dr. Frankenstein in the kitchen. Most of the time it turns out surprisingly good but sometimes it goes straight into the trash.

I'm just on here looking to meet new people and maybe become friends. Anything more than that would just be icing on the cake.

Well, where to begin? I'm pretty much just trying this out with no expectations at all, just heard about it from friends. As for me, I've been going to school at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, majoring in Chemistry with a math minor. I'll be graduating in December of 2009, which is exciting. I currently work at 3M as a tech aide, just trying to get as much experience as possible.

I'd like to consider myself different from most "science" guys, because I've had some really crappy jobs in my lifetime...which basically gave me a slap in the face, as to what I should be doing with my life. So I can, in a way, relate to lots of people. You'll never see me judge another person, because I don't know their life story and have no idea what they've been through.

Other than that, I like to stay active by playing basketball, softball, bowling, tennis...pretty much anything that will get me out of the house! I try to hang out with friends whenever I can, and generally try to have a good time.

I'd quickly like to explain the nickname: in my undergrad I was kind of a nerd to psychology from the get go my freshman year, thus earning me the nickname "the Psych Guy" among my friends, when I decided to pursue family therapy, they changed it to "the Family Guy", I do not think it has anything to do with the TV show, but I never asked...

I consider myself a wholesome homegrown Kansan. A little out of my element here in the big city, I think I'm adjusting well enough. I moved here (twin cities) to pursue my MA in Family Therapy. I'm 24 and consider myself 2nd born of 7. For the most part my family and friends are the most important things in my life.

Although I consider myself a military brat, I spent most of my residence in Kansas with the only exotic locations being Honolulu and Phoenix. Still, in 12 years of grade school, I attended 11 different schools. It has given me quite a knowledge base on how to pack, though I hate moving.

I do however enjoy traveling, I used to camp and fish when I was younger. Would be nice to get back into it. My studies have taken me abroad for French in 2005; I am second generation French, though far from fluent; however I can handle most communication as my comprehension is rather good. I have also been to Italy and as of last summer, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, England, and Luxembourg. I must admit I find foreign cultures fascinating and languages alluring. In high school I did a year of American Sign, a year of Spanish, and a semester of Japanese. College and high school I had 6 years in French, though that's going on 3 years ago, use it or lose it.

I call Emporia, KS home, because it is the longest I've ever lived in one place. It is where I did my undergrad, finishing with a BA in Psychology and minors in French and Philosophy.

Music is my world and writing is my best friend. My life is the cinema, and thus I try hard to see every movie that comes out. I also have an eye for the performing arts- theatre, opera, ballet, interpretive dance, I enjoy the aesthetics of dance and movement, the choreography. I love piano, I took my hand at playing, but wasn't in the cards. I can appreciate listening though, and I admire those with the talent to play instruments, or art and photography. I love thunderstorms and frequently sing to myself when I'm alone. For a random note, I collect dragons.

I am not competitive besides with myself. Chess, frisbee, bowling include some activities I enjoy. I was raised by my maternal grandparents through most of my life, so I also enjoy many games like dominoes and scrabble.

Life has thrown me a higher than average amount of curve balls, but I seem to always come out on top, doing what I can, where I am, with what I've got.

I have facebook and myspace. I do instant messaging as well on MSN/Windows Live, Yahoo!, AIM, and Skype, and can provide screennames upon request. Meeting new people is a hobby of mine, as is experiencing new things. I'm also compulsively honest if not downright blunt, a lifetime as a military brat can do that. Truth hurts, but not for long. I also pride myself on being something of a conversationalist, so being able to hold a conversation is rather important to me.

Hmm... Where to start. Well, I love to have a good time and I always do! If I am out at the bar or hanging out by myself writing music I always make the best of the situation at hand. I play in a band, love extreme sports (snowboarding, wakeboarding, motocross) and going out for beers and good conversation among friends.

I love cooking, movies, computers, campfires, and puppies. While I'm not an "I can't summarize myself in n words" person, I am managing to have a hard time making this thing accurate. Perhaps I require more writing practice... so it's time to rewrite it again!

I'm a pretty boring person, or so I think.

I'm obsessed with spiders, nature, and animals in general. I have two cats (who are spoiled rotten and I'm obsessed with them), four snakes, a tarantula and some fish. My dream career is to study animals or work in a zoo.

When I'm not working, I'm either with my friends doing whatever comes to mind or at home in bed. I sleep a lot. If I could get away with sleeping over 12 hours a night I would. I loooooooove sleep.

Music is a huge part of my life. Although I have no talent for creating it, I love to listen and discover new things. I love to go to shows and rock out. Unless I'm sleeping I usually have music playing. Complete silence bothers me. Lately I have been listening to XM Radio in my car (Alt Nation!) and 89.3 the Current. If I have my iPod on me I'm probably listening to anything from Ludacris to Hanson (for real, it gets pretty random sometimes).

I like video games, but not to the point where I have 10 different gaming systems and spend every waking moment playing. Occasionally you can find me using my roommates X-Box to play 1 vs. 100 or Beautiful Katamari. I also enjoy a good old fashioned game of Bond. People who can't leave their room to use the bathroom because they are too caught up in a video game make me sick. Get a life.

I need to find someone who can motivate me to get out and do things. I feel like I spend far too much time indoors sitting around watching TV and not really making the most out of life, if you know what I mean. Even little things like going to the zoo with me are awesome. By the way, I could go to the zoo everyday. I have a membership and will gladly take you. :)

I feel the need to mention something about this also: I have my sexuality listed as bisexual. I feel like I should clarify here, I am more bi-curious. I have never been with a woman but every once in a while one will catch my eye and I will get a huge crush on her. I can't really picture anything ever happening, but I am open to it if it does. The main reason I am on this website is to make friends. I have a fair amount of straight and gay guys and girls who currently are my friends but I can always use more people to hang out with and get me out of the house. Plus, you never know if something else could happen I guess. :)
